The Black Bull has improved massively since a change in management - wouldn't of been somewhere I'd of visited initially under the previous management - when we first moved here. Always a a smile from behind the bar making you feel welcome even when busy. Seasonal/topical promotions (was fab in summer with outside viewing for the football too in the secondary garden area, tucked out the back).Welcome additon of bar food has been great also with Buntingford lacking in places to go to eat of an evening... Keep up the good work!

The staff there seem really nice and the place is well presented. However when we were there for lunch they had some issues in the kitchen, which I would have had no problem with if they had come and told us instead of from overhearing from others in there. We ended up waiting about an hour for a pizza which was standard. I'm sure this was probably a one time occurrence but it ruined our visit
Nice pub. Bar staff are friendly and the drinks were nice. The atmosphere was really lovely. Everywhere looked nicely arranged and the seats were comfortable.Shame I was given 7 in 10p's and 5p's from a 10 note.
Really good and friendly staff. Lovely pub and do amazing food! Best pub in the town by far. Food is really nice, hugely recommend for anyone in the area to try their new food.
