We had a most enjoyable experience at The Falcon. All the staff made us feel very welcome and the food was exquisite. A real gem in the heart of the Shire. We will be back soon!

Picked here for my son's first birthday lunch with the grandparents and some other family. Staff were very sweet and helped us decorate one of the private dining rooms. The place looked beautiful in general - Christmas wreaths, garlands and trees throughout the restaurant. The attention to detail is clear. The food was exceptional. Highlights were the venison scotch egg - which the birthday boy inhaled -and the roasts were all fantastic. Great wine selection and we thought the bill was very reasonable for the quality of what we ate. Thoroughly recommend.
This was one of the most delicious meals I have had recently. The quality of the cooking was outstanding. The beef wellington was melt in the mouth with flaky, fantastic pastry. We were in the private room upstairs, a great place for a celebration or just a get together with friends. The service was great, super efficient and lots of smiles. A really wonderful experience. Thank you! Really looking forward to trying the Sunday roast.
